Here’s a look into all the game features available in Piggy Heist.

Coin Collection

The basic game feature. Coin Pouch symbols (tiny green pouches full of coins) can land on the leftmost and rightmost reels on the grid. When they do, they collect Coin symbols that appear across the grid.

If two Coin Pouches land simultaneously, they collect the Coins twice- and the value is doubled. Meanwhile, coins appear with values ranging from 0.5x to 25x the bet. Any Coins that aren’t collected by Coin Pouches on the grid will go straight into the Safe.

When a Coin is collected into the safe, it may randomly trigger the Hold’n Spin feature.

Hold’n Spin

This is the main game feature that is the same as any other Hold & Win or Hold & Spin features.

During this feature, the grid clears and only Coins can land on the grid. When they land, they do so face-down and stick to the reels.

The feature begins with 3 spins, and this counter resets to 3 whenever one or more new Coin symbols land. The feature can extend up to a maximum of 30 respins as long as new coins keep landing.  When the round ends, they flip to reveal values of 1x to 30x the bet.

Vault Gamble

At the very end of any Hold’n Spin round, players get to choose to either gamble or collect. If they want to gamble their winnings, they can do so in the Vault Gamble. This is a single spin where Double Coins and Police Badges land on the reels. If more Double Coins land than Police Badges, your Hold’n Spin winnings are doubled.

If more Police Badges hit, your winnings are reduced to zero. The gamble can be used up to 4 times consecutively, but the risk increases with each attempt. The Vault Gamble feature is capped at 11,520x the bet.

Otherwise, they can choose to collect their winnings and go directly back to the base gam without risking their winnings.

Vault Wilds

Stethoscopes are a special icon that does not pay anything. Instead, it’s meant for collection – you collect them to fill the Vault Meter, which progressively unlocks six different Wild types.

For every 6 stethoscopes collected, you get the next stage:

• Stage 1: Standard Wilds
• Stage 2: Multiplier Wilds with 2x-5x values
• Stage 3: Expanding Wilds and Multiplier Expanding Wilds with 1x-5x values
• Stage 4: Expanding Chobby Wild and Multiplier Expanding Chobby Wild with 1x-5x, awarding 3 Respins
• Stage 5: Expanding Walking Wilds that move left with Respins until falling off the reels or reaching 10 respins maximum + Multiplier Expanding Walking Wilds with 1x-5x values
• Stage 6: Mega 2×2 Wilds

Only one type of Wild can appear at a time. There’s also a maximum of two 2×2 Wilds on screen. If a Multiplier Wild lands, all other Wilds in view get the same multiplier value.

Our Experience with Piggy Heist

Even though Piggy Heist didn’t immediately blow us away with originality, we have to say that playing the game was a pleasant experience. At least, pleasant enough, until we ran into a dry spell that lasted a while. It took a while to unlock boosters, too.

We tried out the Autoplay option, which works great, but at one point we started wondering if we could ever get to any kind of special feature. We ultimately did. We unlocked all types of Wilds through the Wild Vault progress bar, and we got the Hold’n Spin feature. That was surprisingly not as fun as we expected it to be – it was over rather quickly and we had to wait a long time to get it, so it was a bit difficult to like it.

In terms of technicalities, the game has a huge potential, so that’s fun. Only, it’s not going to be easy to win that kind of prize, which is why recommend going into it for fun, not profits.
