HOW TO PLAY

The thing with The Bingo Spot is that a game that replaced Pragmatic Play’s Vegas Ball Bonanza. Vegas Ball Bonanza was a live bingo game that came out in 2023. However, two years later, the studio decided it was time for a new bingo game that was better than the previous one, and so this replaced the old Vegas Ball Bonanza. In many ways, the two games are the same, but there are a few key differences between the two.

In The Bingo Spot, each round begins with a short 12-second betting window. During this time, you can purchase between 1 and 400 tickets, with total stakes ranging from €0.10 to €10,000 per round.

Once betting closes, the host starts the live ball draw. Numbers are drawn automatically and marked on your tickets. The tickets contain 9 numbers in total (3×3 numbers on a grid) and that’s the same number of balls that are drawn during a round.

That is, if you don’t trigger the Wild Ball. Your objective is to complete specific lines on a single ticket to trigger payouts:

  • 1 Line – 1:1 payout
  • 2 Lines – 4:1 payout
  • 3 Lines – 24:1 payout
  • 4 Lines – 49:1 payout
  • Full House – 249:1 payout

Before the draw begins, five ball numbers are secretly assigned as Lucky Numbers. Each carries a multiplier. When revealed and present on a winning ticket, they multiply that ticket’s payout.

If the Wild Ball appears during the draw, it activates a bonus wheel that awards 1 to 4 extra balls, extending the round and creating additional chances to complete patterns.

When a ticket is one number away from completing a pattern, the “1 TO GO” feature displays potential payouts and probability information, building anticipation as the round unfolds.

Our Experience with the Game

The Bingo Spot feels like regular bingo after an espresso shot. It’s fast-paced, it’s lively – it’s everything you’d want to see in a bingo game from a big studio such as Pragmatic Play.

We like the way they refurbished the old game. Vegas Ball Bonanza featured mostly the same features as this one, except you could only purchase 9 tickets – here you can get up to 400 per round. Of course, we don’t advise going with such a high number of tickets unless you are totally ready for that move and can spare the funds in case of a loss. And there will be a loss almost certainly.

Most sessions deliver frequent small wins, like 1-line and 2-line payouts that keep the wins and bankroll moving.

We liked when we saw Wild Balls, that was always a fun part (although they don’t trigger that often, to be honest). Lucky Numbers add a little pizzazz to the experience, but don’t expect it to change your life with the height of the multiplier.

All in all, it’s fast, flashy, and entertaining, but it’s clearly built for bigger bursts than consistent large payouts.
