HOW TO PLAY

As we mentioned, Video Poker Live by Evolution simulates a virtual poker machine. Essentially, this means that a computer determines the outcomes of the cards except for the 5 cards the dealer draws initially. A standard 52-card deck is used and the player needs to arrange the strongest 5-card hand possible. Here is how it works:

  • Start of the Round – A 15-second betting period begins the round where the player chooses the number of hands of up to 100 separate ones to bet on. You also choose the size of the bet per hand and the paytable according to the chosen ruleset:
    • Jacks or Better
    • Tens or Better
    • Deuces Wild
    • Bonus Poker
    • Double Double Bonus
  • Dealing – Once bets are placed the dealer draws 5 real cards which is either your hand or one of your hands. In case you bet on more than one, the rest of the cards are virtual. You now have the option to swap cards or click on the HOLD button to have them remain.
  • End of the Round – Cards you chose to switch are replaced and if you have a winning combination depending on the chosen ruleset, you get a payout. The size of your payment is determined based on the strength of your combination.
