HOW TO PLAY LIVE ULTIMATE TEXAS HOLD’EM
Even experienced poker players might feel some confusion initially. Live Ultimate Texas Holdem by Evolution hits all the beats of the classic game, but the pace is somewhat different. An example of a typical round might be the best way to explain how to play Live Ultimate Texas Holdem.
First, the player must put down 2 identical bets called Ante and Blind. Then, the dealer will give you two face-up cards. This is your hand, and these need to combine with 5 shared cards to make classic poker hands. Of course, the dealer also has two face-down cards.
Your options now are to check or raise. A raise in casino hold ‘em is called a Play Bet. Remember that you can only make one Play Bet per round. At this point, a Play Bet can be 3x or 4x the Ante.
Then comes the flop. The dealer reveals the first 3 communal cards. Again, you can check or make a Play Bet – though this time a Play bet is 2x the Ante.
The last two cards are called the turn and river. After these two are down, your Play Bet can only equal the Ante.
