Like we said, the NetEnt Funk Master has four different features. Wins on the cluster pay grid are helped by the Avalanche mechanic which removes winning clusters to add space for additional wins.

• Dancing Wilds: Dancing Wilds are Wilds that appear both during the base game and Free Spins. They’re called Dancing Wilds because they sashay across the grid when they participate in a winning combo. Once the Wild finds its place, the Avalanche begins. The Wilds can participate in more than one winning combo.
• Dancing Wild Hotspots: Dancing Wild Hotspots are randomly selected 2×2 areas that highlight a certain portion of the grid on each spin. If symbols that are inside the square area participate in a winning combo, their positions become unlocked. If you successfully unlock all four symbols in one spin, you’ll get one Dancing Wild. The next spin resets the locked icons. In Free Spins, the Hotspots have even more power – they are 3×3 areas which may reward you with 2 Dancing Wilds and up to 12 reel expansions (by going 1 row up).
• Multipliers: The game symbols are shiny and colourful disco balls, but the real stars of the show are the Multipliers. They appear randomly on the grid and can increase the total win by 2x, 3x, 5x, or 10x. If you have more than one Multiplier, the win multiplier is the sum of the two multipliers that is then applied to the win. You’ll recognize these nifty icons as they are represented as the bombs.
• Free Spins: The main game feature is the funky Free Spins mode which unlocks and bestows 6 spins after 3 Dancing Wilds are collected. The Wilds that opened the feature remain attached on the grid until you run out of free spins. An interesting thing about the game is that during the spins you get to collect Multipliers and Dancing Wilds which might expand the grid up 8×12, instead of the regular 8×8.
• Buy Feature: If you don’t want to wait for the features, you can always use the Buy Feature functionality. The feature lets you buy Free Spins for only 125x the stake. This feature is not available in all gambling markets, though.
