Here are all the features you can encounter playing Gates of Olympus Roulette.

Lucky Numbers

In each round, between one and seven Lucky Numbers are randomly selected. They are assigned to specific wheel pockets before betting time opens.

If someone wagers on a straight-up bet that is also a Lucky Number position, the player will receive a multiplied payout (the Multiplier will apply to the straight-up payout).

The multipliers range from 10x to 2,500x.

Bonus Number

Besides Lucky Numbers, one straight up number is selected to be (again, randomly) the Bonus Number. The task for this number is to unlock the bonus round.

To activate the bonus round, the ball must land in that pocket and a player must have a straight-up bet placed on that specific number. When both conditions are met, the live feed switches to the Gates of Olympus slot bonus game.

What that essentially means is that you get the screen that’s a 6×5 slot Gates of Olympus.  The slot’s tumble mechanic plays out, with multiplier symbols accumulating and applying to total wins. The bonus round maximum is 10,000x on the qualifying straight-up bet.

Theme, Visuals & Sound

Pragmatic Play has built a dedicated studio for this table rather than applying Gates of Olympus branding to an existing studio layout. The physical environment uses the slot’s marble and gold visual palette, with Zeus appearing in several parts of the game.

The wheel fits into the theme. Essentially, it’s columns, togas, and white marble everywhere.

Even in the slot section of the game, you get a mix of purple and white marble, accented by golden hues. It’s great execution of the Greek theme.

Our Experience Playing Gates of Olympus Roulette

As fans of both slots and classic roulette, we were kind of intrigued by the product of mixing a popular slot and a roulette game.

Turns out, it’s a good mix, mostly because the studio kept the game RTP at a reasonable level, and the payouts are more than satisfactory.

As expected, it’s hard to hit a higher payout; you need to use the Lucky Numbers, and the Bonus round is unlocked seldom. Still, it’s a rewarding experience, where you can grab up to 10,000x if you are lucky enough. But who is that lucky?

Just in case, we recommend going easy on the wagers. You don’t want to bet more than you can handle losing, as the game variance runs pretty high.

But all in all, we loved the experience. It’s fun, it’s pretty to look at (the studio looks amazing, down to the tiniest details, such as the Zeus-themed lever), and the playability is decent.
