Evolution has taken a major leap forward – once again. The pioneering game studio is making waves with its global iGaming strategy with the opening of two landmark live casino studios. One is in São Paulo, Brazil, and the other in Cebu, the Philippines.
These two brand-new studio environments are the company’s first studios in Latin America and Asia, designed to deliver high-quality, localised content in newly regulated markets.
Following the formal and official regulation of Brazil’s online gaming industry in January 2025, Evolution became the first licensed iGaming supplier in the country. And if that weren’t a major step in itself, the company also decided to unveil a brand-new, state-of-the-art studio in São Paulo. Everything there, from content to visuals, is tailored specifically for Brazilian players.
The Brazilian studio launches with a robust lineup of native Portuguese-speaking Blackjack games, including:
But worry not. The company has also confirmed that top global titles like Crazy Time and XXXtreme Lightning Roulette will be fully prepared for the Brazilian audience, including streaming from the São Paulo studio. Additionally, ICE Fishing, Evolution’s flagship title for this year, will also get its launch as a Brazilian version with local hosts, visuals, and themes.
Natalia Torres, Evolution’s Head of Region for Latin America, expressed enthusiasm about the launch:
“We are proud to unveil Brazil’s first fully localised live casino studio. This is a major milestone not only for Evolution but also for the future of regulated iGaming in Brazil. The studio offers full flexibility — from language and game types to branding and marketing — helping operators instantly connect with the Brazilian audience.”
Nearly at the same time, Evolution decided to expand its footprint into Asia with the launch of its first live casino studio in Cebu, the Philippines. This debut is a pivotal moment for the company s they step into Asia’s first regulated iGaming market for the first time.
The Cebu studio was opened in partnership with One Visaya Gaming Corporation (OVG), a well-established operator working under Filipino strict compliance rules.
At the time of launch, the game portfolio included Baccarat tables, but there are plans for expansion with upcoming releases like:
Gionata La Torre, Evolution’s CEO for Europe, commented:
“We’re proud to launch our first live casino studio in Asia in the Philippines and be part of its regulated online gaming market. This new studio is a major milestone in our long-term commitment to the region.”
He continued:
“With local favourites available from day one and custom content on the horizon, we’re focused on delivering a trusted, top-tier experience for players across Asia.”
The simultaneous studio launches in Brazil and the Philippines underscore Evolution’s long-term commitment to localisation, regulatory compliance, and regional player engagement. By offering language-specific dealers, culturally resonant themes, and exclusive content, the company is building deep trust with local audiences and helping licensed operators stand out in competitive markets.
Whether it’s Portuguese Blackjack in São Paulo or custom Baccarat tables in Cebu, Evolution’s dual expansion proves one thing: localisation is the future of live casino, and Evolution is leading the way.
