HOW TO PLAY

Live Baccarat by BETER Live is a classic baccarat table. There’s a dealer that deals cards to two sides – Player and Banker – where the side closer to 9 wins. Players place wagers either on Player or Banker hands, but if they feel like the round might end in a Tie, they can wager on that betting option too.

During the draw, the dealer deals two cards to each side. BETER Live Baccarat follows the baccarat third card rules.

As is the case with every baccarat table, 10s and face cards count as zero. If the total goes over 10, the total is counted as the last digit (e.g., if you have a total of 14, the actual count will be 4 as you subtract 10). Aces have a value of 1.

Because of said third card rules, the Banker hand has a slightly better chance of winning than the Player hand. Hence, the table employs the 5% commission on the Banker bet, so the payout for the Banker is 0.95:1. If you don’t want to pay that commission, you can check out BETER Live No Commission Baccarat (labelled as Live Baccarat NC) which does not include this fee. The NC version is streamed at the same table, and just the fee is removed in your game UI.

The live casino game includes an 18-second betting phase during which players are given a chance to place whichever wager they want. Note that you do not have to place a main bet to bet on side bets. This is not the case in Bet on Teen Patti, which requires main bets to be placed before side bets.

Therefore, to play Live Baccarat by BETER Live, you only need a wagering amount placed on the Player, Banker, Tie main bets, or one of the side bets. The dealer then deals two cards to the Player and Banker hands, and, depending on the result, announces the winning hand. As soon as the round ends, the host starts preparing for the next round.

Technically speaking, there is nothing you can do to place bets and the dealer will do the rest. That being said, there are several side bets you can wager on besides the three main bet options.

Side bets in the game include Player/Banker Pairs, Perfect Pairs, Either Pair, and the Player/Banker bonus.

Obviously, the Player and Banker Pairs bets payout if the Player or Banker’s hands turn out to be Pairs by rank. You can wager on either the Player Pair or Banker Pair.

Then there are the Either Pair and Perfect Pair side bets. Either Pair wins if there is a Pair made out of Player or Banker hands – it does not matter which side gets the Pair as long as there is one on the table. The chance of getting this side bet win is higher than by betting on specific sides, so that’s why the payout for this one is lower.

Perfect Pairs pay when there is a pair on the Player or Banker side (it does not matter which) that matches in rank and suit. If you happen to have two Perfect Pairs on both sides – Player and Banker – you get an even better payout.

Lastly, there is the Player and Banker Bonus that pays if you win with a Natural Hand (win with a total value of 8 or 9/ with 2 cards drawn) or with a 4-point difference or more. The bigger the difference, the higher the payout.
